After conquering depression, the artist formerly known as Kerberus reemerged with a new sense of self and a deeper understanding of the world around him. K.I.D, born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has family ties stretching throughout Georgia to the Midwest. Now a proud father, K.I.D is more than the kid who turned poems into raps or sang for fun; he produces and has added digital and abstract art skills to his creative arsenal. As K.I.D says, "I feel like water musically, I can maintain my sense of self while taking the form of whatever genre I put myself in."
